Maru Pottery

Maria Guevera is a Fredericton-based ceramic artist, well known for her colourful renditions of cityscapes. Using of bright colours, nature, and a decorated ceramic technique called Sgraffito. She produces elaborate ceramic forms using both the throwing wheel and slab work which offers up extended surfaces to carve and paint with coloured engobes, slips and glazes.
