Chris Doiron holds a Diploma in Fine Craft – Ceramics, from the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design. Over the last decade, Chris has been building his career as a ceramic artist, working in both stoneware and raku temperatures.
Inspired by nature’s colours and textures, he prefers soft earth toned glazes and clays, and is drawn to wood-firing, for its unique qualities and unpredictable results. Chris is a juried member of the New Brunswick Crafts Council, an Instructor for the City of Fredericton’s edVentures program, and was awarded a creation grant from the New Brunswick Arts Board, for his work with local river clays. Chris lives in Miramichi, NB with his wife and young daughter.
